You’ve heard the hype from VAR and other sources about using social medias like blogs, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to get new clients. But you may be wondering, that’s great, but how do I actually do that stuff for my business?
There’s a session at VAR’s Convention & Expo just for you! It’s called Social Media for the Technologically Challenged and it’s on Saturday, September 27 at 2 p.m.
This session with Tony Arko and Danilo Bogdanovic, two boots-on-the-floor REALTORS® who are raking in clients using social media marketing, will demonstrate how agents can profit from a well-implemented social media marketing strategy. You’ll learn the difference between the many types of social media sites, and how to use them to increase your real estate business. Arko and Bogdanovic promise to help you increase your referral business and sphere of influence by becoming a trusted real estate expert through social media marketing.
This session will help you get past the theoretical so that you can start deploying these powerful relationship-building tools in your business.

VAR's Convention & Expo Experience
To Whom It May Concern:
For the life of me, I can’t figure why VAR would go out of the Commonwealth for their convention. The economy is drifting, gas prices are soaring, and VAR dumps on the very people who help support Virginia’s economy. I can think of at least a dozen places we could hold the convention within the Commonwealth. I’m sure those who set up the convention could come up with at least twice that many but they didn’t - Why?
Needless to say, I will not be attending the Maryland convention and I will surprised if any Virginia Realtor who has a brain will attend.

According to our files, I see that you have never attended a VAR Convention. Well, Baltimore is just a quick drive from Great Falls, so this a perfect opportunity to see what we’re all about. Being so close, you could even just come in for a day (I recommend Friday). I hope to see you there!
