Meeting Policies

Meeting Policies:

  • Convention Registration is required for attendance at any meeting, event or function except the CRS course, which is a separate ticketed event on Thursday.
  • Each VAR member or non-REALTOR® licensee must complete a separate registration form. Non-member spouses/guests/children must be included on the same form if attending Convention events.
  • Full registration includes all governance meetings, general and education sessions, plus the two Trade Expo lunches, the Expo Opening Reception, Breakfast in the Expo and the Inaugural Party.
  • One-day registrants are limited to events on their chosen day.
  • Trade Expo only registration is per day and includes access only to the Trade Expo area. No other convention functions (governance or education) are included.
  • Transfer of registration is not allowed.
  • Incomplete forms will be promptly returned
  • Early registrations must be received by VAR online or via mail or fax by 6 p.m. July 18, 2008.
  • Regular registration must be received by VAR online or via mail or fax by 6 p.m. September 15, 2008.
  • No advance registrations will be taken after September 15, 2008.

Cancellation Requests:

  • Must be made in writing and post-marked or faxed by September 15, 2008.
  • Registration will be refunded in full less a $50 processing fee.
  • No refunds will be made after September 15, 2008.

Attire:

  • Casual business attire is recommended for all meetings.
  • Dress in casual evening attire for the Inaugural Party.

  • In order to better accommodate your needs, if you have a disability, which will require special auxiliary aids and/or services at this meeting, please notify VAR Conferences Group at (800) 755-8271 by September 1, 2008.

Please note: Photographs may be taken of conference participants and used by VAR during the course of or following the meeting.
